‘H’ John Mejia is an award-winning producer, TV host, and entrepreneur with a remarkable career in media and video production. His journey began as an on-air sports reporter for the local TV show “Cincinnati on The Go” in Ohio. This initial experience paved the way for a successful television and video production career, ultimately leading to the founding of In The Zone TV in St. Petersburg, FL, in 2003.
Over the years, ‘H’ has had the privilege of interviewing and featuring numerous renowned movie stars, celebrities, and professional athletes, providing clients with dependable and proven production services to effectively share their stories with the world.

Born and raised in Jamaica, Queens, NYC, ‘H’ graduated from Bayside High School before pursuing higher education in Maryland. He earned a degree in Business Marketing from Towson University, where he was a four-year starter and team captain of the football team, which achieved a #4 national ranking. As a Tight End, he remains Towson’s all-time leader in receptions, touchdowns, and receiving yards. After college, he signed free-agent contracts with the Indianapolis Colts(NFL), Michigan Panthers, Oakland Invaders (USFL), and PA Patriots (MLFS).

Xiao Mejia, an accomplished media production expert, brings a unique blend of creativity and operational excellence to her role as Vice President and Operations Director at In The Zone TV. Originally from a small village in China, Xiao arrived in the United States in 2001 with a vision for a brighter future. Through self-taught English skills and a commitment to higher education, she set the stage for a thriving career in fashion and media.
Graduating with honors from the International Academy of Design and Technology, Xiao earned her degree in Fashion Design and Marketing. Her academic journey included transformative semesters in London and Paris, where she honed her artistic vision while interning under renowned fashion designers Craig and Yul Taylor.
Xiao’s illustrious career includes a successful tenure as a fashion model, walking the runway for esteemed designers such as Badgley Mischka, Naeem Khan, and Steve Madden. She has appeared in commercials and numerous print advertisements, making countless national TV appearances for prominent clients like HSN and Bealls Florida. Her fashion collection debuted at the 2012 Imagine Fashion Show, showcasing her talent and creativity.

Brian Sawin

Brian Sawin is a talented media professional hailing from upstate New York, bringing a rich tapestry of experiences in television and film production. He holds an Associate’s degree in Television Production and a Bachelor’s degree in Film Production from Ithaca College, where he honed his craft and developed a passion for storytelling through visual media.
After seizing the opportunity to complete his college career in Los Angeles, Brian interned with industry heavyweights such as Joel Silver and Walden Media. His dedication and exceptional work ethic led to a coveted position at Crusader Entertainment (now known as Bristol Bay Productions), a division of Walden Media. As a production assistant, he gained invaluable experience working on notable films, including the adventurous Sahara starring Matthew McConaughey and the critically acclaimed, Academy Award-winning Ray, featuring Oscar winner Jamie Foxx.
In late 2004, Brian made the strategic move to the Tampa Bay area and joined the In The Zone TV team, where he has since flourished as a multifaceted production talent. Over the years, Brian has sharpened his skills in various aspects of production, including camera operations, graphic editing, scriptwriting, and overall project management. He has worked closely with ‘H’ John Mejia, contributing significantly to the signature production value that In The Zone TV is renowned for.
Outside of his production expertise, Brian is passionate about travel and photography, always seeking new perspectives to inspire his work. Additionally, he has pursued a career as a stand-up comic, showcasing his comedic talents at various venues across the Tampa Bay area and beyond, blending humor with storytelling in a unique way.
